#8 Vet in North Dublin City, Dublin
Fairview Veterinary Hospital, located in Fairview, Dublin, stands out as a reputable clinic with a commendable 4.6-star rating based on 356 reviews. This high number of reviews suggests a reliable dataset, indicating a strong and positive reputation among its clientele. The clinic offers a range of veterinary services, including vaccinations, check-ups, dental treatments, and assistance with EU pet passports, which are appreciated by clients who have accessed these services.
The reviews highlight the clinic’s professional and caring staff, with particular praise for individuals like Adriana and Ciaran. Adriana is noted for her knowledge and passion, particularly in handling multiple cats, while Ciaran is commended for his expertise and ability to engage pet owners with his insights about feline care.
However, not all feedback is positive. One review raises concerns about the clinic's diagnostic approach and pricing. A client expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of a sick cat, noting that the recommended tests and treatments were both costly and ineffective. This review contrasts with the overall positive sentiment but serves as a reminder of the challenges in veterinary diagnostics and the importance of clear communication regarding treatment plans and costs.
Despite this outlier, the majority of feedback underscores Fairview Veterinary Hospital's dedication and capability in providing quality care. With reasonable pricing noted by some clients and a team that appears genuinely invested in the well-being of their patients, the clinic remains a favored choice for pet owners in Dublin.

They are all incredible professionals. I took my dog for her first vaccination and a check-up. They were extremely professional and caring with her. We will definitely be back!

I have been a client for years, and always a promoter of this clinic, but unfortunately now I have to express a very negative feedback. So far, while nothing serious was happening, I had always been satisfied, despite the not so cheap prices, especially when they took care of my pet's teeth. However, this year my cat got sick, and I brought him in. Of course, during the first visit they didn't know for sure what was wrong (as understandably you would need more in-depth diagnostics), and I was given a whole list of possible negative root causes, such as pleuris, cancer, hyperactive thyroid etc. We were told some very expensive blood samples (200 euros!) could be necessary. We went for antibiotics, but, as we feared already, with no results. Problem is, we brought him back, and they still went for another run of antibiotics, without suggesting any actual proper solution - it was clear enough at that point that that alone couldn't solve anything. Result: almost 130 euros thrown in the bin, with no result, while my pet kept being in pain. Thankfully, we were recommended to go to Killester Vets. The lovely Emma immediately excluded any issue with his lungs, by just using a stethoscope (nothing fancy!), and she immediately suggested checking his throat. Result, he had an abscess in his throat, and they were able to tackle it there and then. He's still on the mend, and he might need further care, but at least now we have a clear diagnosis. I appreciate diagnosis is not a straight line, and certainly not easy, but what I have seen with Fairview Vets is a clinic trying to bleed us dry with useless tests and visits instead of going for some reasonable action, and this isn't ok at all. Plus, cost of the visit is DOUBLE then in the other clinic.... So yes, if you need run of the mill care, go for them, but otherwise RUN!!!

Always great. Prices reasonable. Staff are dedicated animal whisperers. Only vet for her royal highness. They seem to genuinely love their patients. Pic shows bag of supplies I got today. Only noticed what they wrote on the bag after I left.

Ciaran is absolutely amazing. We have 5 cats. He is so good with them and his knowledge is fantastic. I could listen to him talk about cats all day. We recently moved back to Dublin and I am so so grateful we found such an amazing vet!!!
